Pray for Troops in Afghanistan

The various news outlets are reporting casualties among our troops in Afghanistan. Please join me in praying for their safety, for the people of Afghanistan, for those who bear ill will against us, and for all leaders.

   My cousin was killed in Afghanistan this past week in Helmand Province. Our hearts ache so terribly. We welcomed him home to St. Louis today and will lay him to rest on Tuesday. All you soldiers out there… God bless you and keep you safe. Know that so many back home care and want you to come safely.

   RIP Corporal Donald Marler.

   Please know that you and your family are being lifted up in prayer as I speak. While your profound loss cannot be experienced by others exactly as you experience it, we do stand with you in prayer. Bless you!
