Please respond to the need in Haiti!
Here’s an article I wrote last week that sums up my response to the need:
There’s a tragedy of untold magnitude in Haiti, that poorest of countries in the Western Hemisphere. Last night I heard a news reporter choke up during his report as he witnessed an injured girl, lips quivering, struggle with life under blood-soaked bandages.
What can we do?
1) Pray. We don’t determine God’s actions, we ask for them.
2) Give. There are many worthy organizations, and they need our help. One military family is giving the 3.4% raise in military pay for the first pay period of 2010. There are many other ways to give. Please give something!
