Mentioned in the report was the large variety of mental health support service available through Military OneSource.  Air Force Col. Cory Lyman, assistant director of Individual Readiness and Family Policy at the Pentagon, praised the 24/7 program, which is available by phone at 1-800-342-9647or online at www.militaryonesource.com.

A Military OneSource consultant can troubleshoot problems encountered by service members and families, including active duty, guard and reserve members.  The program is able to link service members and families up with counselors near their homes.  To receive confidential counseling and referrals through Military OneSource, call 1-900-342-9647.  For more information, click here.
